ARTIST TALK: Erika Winstone and John Bicknell in conversation

Erika Winstone, artist and leader of Morley’s fine art mentoring course, will be in conversation with artist John Bicknell talking about their artistic experience and connections between London and Athens. They’ll discuss studying and working in London in the 80’s and how those experiences relate to their work as artists today.

BASKETRY TASTER

Make a small twined basket in an afternoon. In this taster workshop Morley basketry tutor Kim Winter will teach you how to make a small twined basket. You’ll be using soft materials like jute, hemp, and sisal, and can create patterns using different colours. Work in the Morley gallery amongst the group show of contemporary basketry works. This is hands on course that will allow an insight into basketry.
