Showcasing the works of Morley's talented painting and drawing tutors. Touching Eden considers Eden as a fragile, provisional point of origin, continually reimagined. Works by Fine Art tutors at Morley College London reflect the balance between individual practice and shared responsibility, shaped through making, mentoring, and learning. Here, Eden is not preserved but reworked and revisited—an active site where practice and pedagogy remain inseparable from risk, responsibility, and change.

BASKETRY TASTER

Make a small twined basket in an afternoon. In this taster workshop Morley basketry tutor Kim Winter will teach you how to make a small twined basket. You’ll be using soft materials like jute, hemp, and sisal, and can create patterns using different colours. Work in the Morley gallery amongst the group show of contemporary basketry works. This is hands on course that will allow an insight into basketry.
