Made 2025 ‘Something of Importance’ - Bookbinding, Printmaking, Sculpture and Textiles celebrates the talent and achievement of Morley College’s adult learners.

Curated by Morley Gallery and Programme Area Managers, Michelle Avison (Printmaking/Bookbinding), Sheila Vollmer (Sculpture), and Stephen Ellison (Textiles), MADE reflects the diversity of work produced by learners from different backgrounds, experience and levels of craftsmanship, using a variety of materials, techniques and approaches. These featured Visual Art areas have developed an excellent reputation boasting a spectacular provision of unique courses, skilled tutors and specialist studios. 

Students were invited to consider the UN Sustainable Development Goals or their own interpretations re ‘Something of Importance’ in the work that they produce in classes and submit in the categories of Bookbinding, Printmaking, Sculpture and Textiles.  

MADE reflects the diversity of work produced by using a variety of materials, techniques and approaches. The work will range in size from handheld bronze and wood carved sculptures, small handmade books and mosaics to large hung Textiles, framed prints and metal constructions to name a few of the process and materials.
