Please Touch: Ceramic Encounters is a solo exhibition by Megan Rowden exploring the bonds between artist, clay, and audience. Through interactive ceramic sculptures, participatory installations, and tactile objects, visitors are invited to handle, rearrange, activate, and play with the work. Drawing on material-led practice and research into touch, memory, and participation, the exhibition challenges traditional museum conventions and positions clay as a catalyst for connection. Combining ceramics, sound, movement, and audience intervention, the works are completed through encounter, creating meaningful experiences that remain with visitors long after they leave.
