HNC & HND PHOTOGRAPHY
“Escape” is an online exhibition, featuring nine talented photographers that are studying for their HNC/HND in Photography, at Morley College London.
This is a diverse group of individuals that, during their photographic passage through the college, have managed to explore different photographic genres and engage in photographic dialogues. Throughout this process, albeit the fact that they come from a diverse range of backgrounds, speaking a variety of languages, they are all connected through the universal language of photography; out of all expressive mediums, it allows for a direct reflection of human emotion, that is still open to the interpretation of the viewer. The work shown in “Escape” reveals an abundance of creative ideas based on contextual concepts, drawing on matter learnt at the College as well as the students’ own personal experience of photography as a medium, and their unique surroundings.
As stated by Joan Miro, “You can look at a picture for a week and never think of it again. You can also look at a picture for a second and think of it all your life”
