I like to make functional objects; my work is intended to be used and handled becoming an everyday object. I enjoy working in many different ways and I don’t like to define my work, I allow each piece to determine its own outcome throughout the making process. I draw my inspiration from colour, as this is always the first thing that catches me eye. I have a background in illustration so surface decoration is a very important part of my making process. My work has evolved drastically over the last two years and my journey has only just begun. In my next steps I would like to focus more on form, creating more irregular and fresh shapes encompassing this with a muted colour palette and a simple surface decoration.
