This year’s Zsuzsi Roboz scholars present their interim exhibition. Rosie Gibbens, working across sculpture, drawing, and sound, presents coloured-pencil drawings of household objects and magazine collages on cooking, horses, motorbikes, and ballet, developed through weekly life drawing. She is Made of Moving Things by Yvadney Davis is a print series exploring climate colonialism and hurricanes in the Caribbean. Mapping storm paths linked to the Transatlantic Slave Trade, Davis personifies hurricanes as enslaved women through etching and hand-beading.
